The Birth of Count Control
Count Control started out as a simple app created for a local restaurant in Oahu, Hawaii. This app would help the owner and his staff track produce at the end of the day with simple counts that automatically create re-order suggestions, deal with vendor management, and create per-item profit reports.
We quickly saw, however, that a user-friendly inventory management app like Count Control could aid any company that regularly tracks materials.
Discoverying the Field Service Need
When discussing the app with a long-term field service client of ours, he was intrigued by how his company could use an app like this when loading and unloading their trucks. A quick counting system that doesn’t totally interrupt a field tech’s job would be a game-changer.
So, we set out to make Count Control more than just an inventory app for food service, but something that could make the lives of our field service clients easier and their businesses more profitable.
